Carol D. Greenwood

Carol is the founder of G.A.P Solutions.

Carol attended Ryerson University in the Hospitality & Tourism programme, resulting in two degrees, of Business & Finance. Prior to beginning G.A.P Solutions, Carol most recently worked for 17 years as part of the Accor Group’s Novotel brand. Carol’s path has also allowed her to work with Mississauga Tourism, Vintage Inns, King Ranch Health Spa & Fitness Resort as well as the Marketing firm of Laventhol & Horwath Hospitality Consultants. Although early in her career she worked within the Operational departments, it became clear that her specialty and skill was within Leadership of Sales & Business Management divisions. It was in this area that Carol honed her skills earning her several awards and points of recognition, as well as opening the doors for seats on Tourism Boards such as Mississauga Tourism and Tourism Toronto’s Industry Relations Group. Carol also is a member of such industry related organizations as CPSA & CHMSE.

Carol continues her desire to “give back with her volunteerism.” Whether it is her involvement within the Industry Relations Board with Tourism Toronto, sitting on the Parent Council for her children’s school, coordinating the latest Street event that she lives on, or working with the Corporate Sponsorship Team of the Metro Mothers Network, Carol is always involved and looking for new ways to innovate for a better sought-after outcome.

Carol is a self-admitted shoe-a-holic and is proud of it. Carol’s passion for her company is driven by the desire for a lifestyle that allows her time to spend nurturing her desire for growth in her professional life, but most importantly, allowing her to spend quality and active time with her family. Carol lives with her husband, Derek, in High Park with their 2 young children, Chloe & Zac…..and on occasion a 3rd, when her step-daughter Ashley, visits from University….as well as a crazy dog, Finnegan & the beautiful Peek-a-boo Fluff


Erin P. Arviso

Erin is a consultant with G.A.P Solutions

Erin is a graduate from the Hotel and Food Administration Programme at the University of Guelph. Prior to joining G.A.P Solutions, Erin worked with the developers of O.I.S., a new and innovative programme to launch soon in the Hospitality Industry. Prior to this Erin worked for 7 years within the Accor Hotels’ Novotel brand. It is here, where she met Carol, and developed her Results driven Sales approach. Erin’s fierce competitive spirit, surrounded by a strong support system and her own personal drive for the best has allowed her to always excel at any challenge faced.

Erin was an active member with Mississauga Tourism, and Tourism Toronto participating in Sales Councils. Erin continues to be a member of CHMSE.

Erin is an avid spa-enthusiast, and an exceptional shopper. Erin is a proud Auntie to Kate, Brooke, Declan & Keane. Erin is a newlywed, and lives with her husband, Todd, in Scottsdale, Arizona nestled on a Golf Course. Erin splits her time between their homes in Scottsdale, Arizona and Burlington, Ontario.


Deborah Clark-Rust

Deborah is a consultant with G.A.P Solutions.

Deborah is a graduate from the Hotel Management programme at George Brown College in Toronto. Prior to joining the team at G.A.P Solutions, Deborah worked with Accor Hotels’ Novotel brand for just over ten years specializing in sales, catering and management development, serving as the Director of Sales & Marketing in the downtown core at the Novotel Toronto Centre. These skills allowed Deborah to represent multiple properties, become an Event Meeting specialist/consultant and a desired sales coach for sales professionals that wanted to hone their skills to the next level.

From her early days in the working world, Deborah realized that there was more to hospitality than “would you like fries with that?”and that she had a natural ability to train, organize and develop others’ talents. Her career path has taken her through large chain properties to family-run hotels and conference centres both in Canada and the U.S.A. This has allowed her to gain great understanding of process’ and systems that compliment the sales and service aspects of the Hospitality Industry.

As Deborah, is a natural born trainer, she continually looks for ways to give back. Deborah exemplifies the concept, “what you give, you get back.” Deborah is an active member within CHMSE (Canadian Hotel Marketing & Sales Executives), as well as MPI (Meeting Planners International), and her own chapter of her Mother’s Network.

Deborah was drawn to G.A.P Solutions because of it’s founder, Carol, and her passion that matches Deborah’s own desire for growth in her professional life, balance with quality time spent with family. Deborah calls Burlington, Ontario, home where she lives with her husband Dan, her daughter Abigail, and her beagle, Bea.
